Mumbai

Bangalore

Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. It has a population of over ten million, making it a megacity and the third most populous city and fifth most populous urban agglomeration in India. It is located in southern India on the Deccan Plateau at an elevation of over 900 m (3,000 ft) above sea level, which is the highest among India's major cities

Dadar Flower Market

The Dadar Flower Market, also known as “phool gully” which literally means “flower street”, is up and running before sunrise when vendors come in from around Mumbai with their stock of the freshest and most colorful flowers. Stepping under the flyover at 6 am is an experience of following the beautiful scent of roses and jasmine while also trying to fight through people and flower baskets alike.

IIT Bombay

Currently IIT Bombay has a total of 14 academic departments, six centers, one school, and three interdisciplinary programmes. IIT Bombay is the country’s top higher education institution, according to QS’ first-ever region-wise ranking.

Infosys Campus

The Infosys Bangalore campus has been the trailblazer of other private IT companies alike in many ways. “Mr. Murthy wanted me to build office buildings with a college campus feel to it because it produced an environment more comfortable to work in. He had asked me not to go beyond three floors, but instead to build a number of buildings. He felt that it would give the employees a sense of being at home. Infosys was the pioneer. It created an entire campus for a private company, Such a thing was unheard of until then”, Venkataraman said.

Wadala Slums

Wadala has a large number of old temples and university campuses. It is also home to the Vidyalankar Educational Campus, whose building design has won an international award viz. Designshare's Honour award. The BEST Transport Museum is also located at Wadala’s Anik bus depot. It features amateur mini models of BEST buses and the ancient trams. Wadala is also known for churches, temples and dargas. Near the station is the 400-year-old Vitthal Temple built by Sant Tukaram who brought the idol from Pandharpur, home of the original temple of Lord Vithal.
