Course Description

A social entrepreneur uses the principles of entrepreneurship to solve social problems. Traditionally, solving social problems was seen as the responsibility of governments or not-for-profit organizations that run on donations.

However, social entrepreneurs have combined their passion for business and social change to show that this is no longer the case. Social entrepreneurs and their organisations are showing the world that they can create a large-scale positive social impact.

Explore this episode of Social Entrepreneurship to learn about social entrepreneurs and understand why they are needed for achieving sustainable development.
